Shipping and delivery charges vary according to the delivery zone. Shipping and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT which will be added at the checkout.
Orders placed on this site can only be delivered within the British Isles, including the Channel Islands. Customers in Eire and the rest of Europe should please telephone us on 0800 783 2318, or email us for a special quote.
- Orders received by 1.00pm will normally be shipped that same day and delivered the next working day to Zones 1 & 2 (see above) and within two working days to the other Zones. If we have your email address, you will receive an email from the Carrier that will allow you to track your consignment. The Carrier will not leave goods without an appropriate signature UNLESS you have advised us in the notes box at the checkout of a safe place to leave the goods. This will be at your own risk.
- Privacy & Security
- Shepherd Marine respects your privacy and ensures that any details you provide are used strictly to process your order. We will not disclose your email address or any other information about you to any third party. From time to time, we may want to make you aware of our special offers or discounts on Jotun products that we feel may be of interest to you. The frequency of such emails will never exceed one per month. If you would prefer not to be contacted, please let us know and we will remove your name from our emailing list.
- Returns & Replacements
- Please note that we are unable to accept returns of correctly supplied tinted topcoats other than white as these are all mixed to order.
If you are unsatisfied with any other purchase for any reason, we will provide a full refund less shipping and delivery costs. The items must be returned to us at your own expense within 30 days. They must be in the same condition as when they were received. Please contact us first for a returns note. Please also include your receipt with any returns.
If you receive incorrect, damaged or faulty goods from us, we will either arrange to have them collected at our expense or we will ask you to destroy them on our behalf. You will also be offered a replacement or a refund. - Ordering
- You can send your order on-line any time of the day or night using the shopping cart on our secure site. However, if you prefer, you can phone, email, mail or fax us your order.
- Payment
- All goods must be fully paid for before dispatch. A VAT receipt will be included with your purchases.
For online orders, our secure payment processor (Protx) accepts most credit/debit cards except American Express.
We accept credit/card orders by phone, fax or email.
We accept postal orders, cheques or cash by post. - Viewing Orders
- As a customer of Shepherd Marine you'll be able to access your online account, check the orders you have placed, place repeat orders and view your order history.
- Back Orders
- Very rarely an item may be out of stock. If we think we will be unable to dispatch your order in full within five working days, we will contact you within one working day of receiving your order to make you aware of the situation. You will then have the option of either cancelling your order and receiving a full refund, proceeding with the order without any missing items, or proceeding with the order with the missing items on back order. In any event, you will not be charged for items that have not been dispatched.
- Warranty
- We guarantee that any paint or accessories that we have supplied to you are fit for the purpose for which they were manufactured. Our liability to you will not exceed the replacement value of the goods.
